Bachelor of Science Bsc

The Technische Universität München offers the Aerospace Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). The program covers core disciplines for air and space and earth observation, including mathematics and system theory, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, materials and machine elements, and electrical and information engineering.

The Bachelor is a full-time program with a standard period of study of 6 semesters and 180 credits. The curriculum combines practical structured and open teaching formats and includes a range of specialization offerings, with international team work applied in practice.

The program is designed to prepare graduates for a further engineering course of study (for example, a consecutive Master Aerospace) or for engineering activity in sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, and Design.

Admission is through an “Eignungsfeststellungsverfahren für Bachelorstudiengänge” (aptitude assessment procedure for bachelor programs).

• Required proof of an at least eight-week pre-study internship (“mindestens achtwöchiges Vorpraktikum”).
• English language proof is required for application; the proof is usually provided in the aptitude assessment procedure, and the assessment checks whether school-acquired language skills are sufficient for the program.
• Alternatively, the necessary language skills can be checked during the “Eignungsgespräch” or proven by a language certificate of at least Level B2.
• A German language proof of at least A2 is required.
• Motivation letter in English.
• Curriculum vitae that is gapless and current.
• Identity document: “Personalausweis oder Reisepass”.

English: sufficient English language skills for admission; alternatively, a language certificate of at least Level B2 (“mindestens des Levels B2”).

• Further study in an engineering program (e.g., consecutive Master Aerospace)
• Engineering activity in sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, and Design
