About this program

The Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (FH) offers a Master of Architecture programme with an architecture programme aptitude test. Applicants submit an electronic work portfolio that includes two architecture and/or urban planning projects, plus freely chosen works related to depicting space or perception of space.

The portfolio is submitted as one PDF file by an electronic submission between May 1st and June 15th. The content includes a titled cover page and clearly identified individual work for group projects. The aptitude test portfolio is judged using criteria on conception, context, floor plans, construction and materials, and the quality of visualization and models.

Entry requirements

The application for the master's program in architecture requires a first university degree in architecture, a 6-week construction internship and the passing of the qualifying examination (work portfolio) in the application year.

The 12-week office internship can be submitted later up to the time of registration for the master's thesis.
