Master of Education Teaching Degree At Gymnasium Secondary Schools As Supplementary

Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg offers the Master of Education in Jewish religious education with a teaching degree at Gymnasium secondary schools as a supplementary subject. The supplementary subject with 120 credit points aims at the teaching degree for secondary levels I and II, and the supplementary subject with 90 credit points leads to a teaching degree for secondary level I.

The programme introduces students to Jewish religion, history and culture from antiquity to present-day streams and living worlds. It combines didactic and pedagogical skills in independent modules, with specialisation supported by a theory and methodology and a specialised didactic module, plus a blended module that interlinks subject-related didactic and subject-related scientific questions.
