The Graduate Diploma in Security Studies is a postgraduate program run in partnership between the University of Cape Coast and the Ghana Police Service. It aims to upgrade the knowledge of police personnel in security issues to enhance their performance and improve service delivery. The program is hosted at the Police Academy in Accra and is designed mainly for senior police officers. It is organized in three phases blending traditional police subjects, academic courses offered by the university, and practical courses on Contemporary Policing.
