The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Data Science and Business Intelligence combines Data Science and Business Intelligence within a comprehensive business education. Data Science focuses on analytical skills and techniques from mathematics, statistics, and computer science for extracting information from data. Business Intelligence focuses on the analysis, integration, and presentation of information to support business decision-making.

Admission does not require a written test. Applicants may be invited to an interview arranged on a case-by-case basis. Selection uses a Best Five Subject policy with Mathematics (Compulsory Part) included, and the admission score is calculated from the total score of the best five subjects; Citizenship and Social Development is not included in the best five calculation.

• Chinese Language and English Language: Level 3
• Mathematics (Compulsory Part): Level 2
• Citizenship and Social Development: Attained
• One elective subject: Level 2
• Written test is not required.
• Interview will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

After the minimum entrance requirements are fulfilled, JUPAS applicants are selected using the Best Five Subject policy with Mathematics (Compulsory Part) inclusive for selection purposes. Admission score is based on the total score of the best five subjects. Citizenship and Social Development will not be included in the best five calculation.
