The Diploma in Public Administration is an undergraduate distance-learning programme taught in Icelandic. It covers public administrative law, political science, and business management with practical training applicable to public institutions such as state and municipalities. The curriculum includes courses in information law, constitutional law, privacy law, management, human resource management, project management, political science, and ethics. Students who have completed the Icelandic matriculation examination or equivalent education can apply. Gifted students or those with partial degrees may complete the programme in two years. Graduates can continue to a BA in public administration.
