IDEA Scholarships for Postgraduate Students, UK 2016
The Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied (IDEA) Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Leeds is awarding scholarships for pursuing taught postgraduate programmes in 2016-2017. These partial scholarships are available for undertaking the MA/PGDip Applied and Professional Ethics (Online) and MA/PGDip Biomedical & Health Care Ethics programmes, both campus and online. Selection will be based academic excellence. The application deadline is 30th June 2016.
Subject Offered: Scholarships are Offered for Applied and Professional Ethics (online) and Biomedical & Health Care Ethics programmes (both campus and online).
Degree Level: Scholarships are Offer for pursuing taught postgraduate programmes (MA/PGDip), both campus and online at the University of Leeds.

Eligibility:
- Applied and Professional Ethics Scholarships: Any applicant (UK/EU/International and FT/PT) who applies for the MA/PGDip before the deadline is entitled to apply for a scholarship.
- Biomedical and Health Care Ethics Scholarship: Current and former medical staff who apply to the MA/PGDip Biomedical and Health Care Ethics (either online or campus-based) are eligible to apply. Preference may be given to clinical staff.
Eligible Nationalities: International Students can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Benefit: The scholarships provide partial payment of the academic tuition fees for the course. This allows academically gifted students to take the course who would otherwise not be able to for financial reasons.
Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence, which will be assessed by considering your application to the University and supporting documents, and the interview conducted as part of the admissions process. For part-time students (who take the course over two years) the scholarship is subject to review at the end of the first year.
Application Procedure for IDEA Scholarships for Postgraduate Students
Application Procedure: Applicants should first complete an application to study at the university, specifying their intended programme of study as the MA/PGDip Applied and Professional Ethics and MA/PGDip Biomedical & Health Care Ethics online/campus. You will then need to complete a separate scholarship application form via email.
Deadline: The application deadline is 30th June 2016.
