Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS) is offering executive city masters scholarships to high-potential city-nominated candidates. The IGLUS Executive Master is designed to empower city managers and cities to develop and implement more innovative governance solutions. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the five times 2-week training modules to be held in Istanbul, the Emirates, Guadalajara, Seoul and Michigan-Detroit. At the end of the training modules, each participant will work under the supervision of well-known professors/practitioners on his/her master thesis which should be praxis related. Every city in the world with more than 300,000 inhabitants is eligible to apply. The mode of applying is by e-mail. The application deadline is 15th April 2013.
Study Subject(s): The main focus of this unique Executive Master program is to offer its participants a comprehensive understanding of how technological (especially information and communications technologies) and institutional innovations can and do improve the governance of large urban systems.
Course Level: The Executive Master is divided five times 2-week training modules.
