Georgia Perimeter College: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Georgia Perimeter College is a public institution in the United States, now part of Georgia State University as Perimeter College. It suits international students who want an entry point into metro Atlanta study with separate admission requirements and a broad community-college-style programme mix.

  2. What you can study

Perimeter College has offered more than 40 programs of study, including Arts, Music, Theatre, Nursing, Business Administration, Education, Dental Hygiene, Criminal Justice, and Sign Language Interpreting. It also has campuses in the Atlanta area, and its degrees and admission requirements remain separate from those of the main Georgia State University campus.

  3. Getting in

International applicants need to apply through the college’s current admissions process and check the official website for the programme they want, because Perimeter College keeps its own admission requirements separate from Georgia State University’s main campus. Confirm document requirements, English language expectations, deadlines, and whether your chosen programme has any extra steps.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee range for international students; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. As with any study move in Atlanta, plan separately for housing, transport, meals, and personal expenses.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated. Before applying, confirm the programme you want, the admission route, visa support documents, and whether your qualification is accepted for direct entry or requires additional steps.

  6. How it compares

Among 2,515 universities in the United States, this is a public institution with a specific role inside Georgia State University rather than a standalone main campus. That makes it more relevant for students who want a separate set of admission rules and a wide set of programmes in metro Atlanta, instead of a large research university experience from the start.
