Tulane University: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Tulane University is a university in the United States that offers study from bachelor’s through doctorate and professional levels. It suits students who want a wide range of programme options in areas such as biology and business.

  2. What you can study

Tulane offers 43 programmes across bachelor’s, master’s, PhD/doctorate, and professional levels. Examples include BS in Aviation Science, several Biology degrees at bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and professional science master’s level, and business options such as BBA in Accounting, BBA in Business Administration, BBA in Finance, and accelerated 4+1 pathways in Human Resource Management and Marketing.

  3. Getting in

The main application question for an international student is which level and programme to apply for, then checking the current entry requirements on Tulane’s official website. Confirm the documents needed, deadlines, and whether your qualification is accepted for the chosen degree level before applying.

  4. What it costs

Tulane does not publish a tuition fee range in the information available here, so confirm the current cost with its admissions office. Also check typical living costs in New Orleans, since housing, food, transport, and personal expenses will depend on your lifestyle and housing choice.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm it with the university before applying. You should also check visa steps, proof of funds, document translation rules, and whether your academic background matches the admission requirements for your chosen programme.

  6. How it compares

With 2,515 universities in the United States, Tulane sits in a very large higher-education market. Its appeal is the mix of degree levels and the range shown in biology, business, aviation, law, and medicine, so it is a fit for students who want a multi-level university rather than a single-subject institution.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
