Master of Architecture

The Master of Architecture (M.Arch) at Vellore Institute of Technology is offered in the branch Digital Technology in Buildings. The programme focuses on architecture, digital technologies, and construction, including BIM (Building Information Modeling), parametric and research design theories, and methods such as building performance analysis and digital fabrication.

The programme is a two-year, four-semester postgraduate course at the Vellore campus. Semester 1 covers Skill, Knowledge, Design Management with BIM Integrated + Parametric + Research / Design Theories. Semester 2 covers Analysis, Simulation, and Prototype with Building Performance Analysis + Digital Fabrication + Project Management. Semester 4 includes Internship or Thesis.

Pass with 60% marks in Bachelor of Architecture from a CoA recognised University/Institute.

Council of Architecture Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture.

UG Architecture Portfolio.

A minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th Std.

• All candidates must write Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture (PGETA) conducted by Council of Architecture.
• A digital portfolio of architectural design works from UG and/or Practice of size not exceeding 10 MB to be uploaded and the drive link to be sent to [email protected]
• Merit list will be prepared on the basis of UG marks, Entrance Test score and Personal Interview with Portfolio (Online).
