Bachelor of Communication Science

The Bachelor of Communication Science program at Universitas Islam Indonesia offers three areas of focus: Broadcasting Journalism, Strategic Communications, and Culture and Creative Media. Students study practical communication skills such as reportage, interview techniques, production management, public relations, media communication management, and creative media production including cinema, advertisement publishing, graphic design, and music. The program includes practical work in well-equipped laboratories like Film and Television, Photography, Radio and Press Laboratory, and the Center for Alternative Media Studies and Documentation (NADIM). It features a Communications Field Practice (K3) to develop competence and creativity aligned with students' interests. The International Program uses English for instruction and provides activities like student exchanges, internships, and leadership training to support global competence. The program is structured for full-time study over eight semesters and emphasizes practical experience and international exposure.

Applicants to the International Program registering via Honors Student Appraisal (PSB) or Quran Hafiz Appraisal (PHA) must submit English proficiency test results: CEPT from CILACS UII (minimum score 475), TOEFL ITP (470), TOEFL iBT (52), or IELTS (5.5).
