Doctor of Civil Engineering

The Doctor of Civil Engineering at Universitas Islam Indonesia is a doctoral program aimed at producing qualified academics and professionals in civil engineering. It offers specializations including Construction Management, Earthquake Engineering Management, Transportation Planning and Engineering, and Transportation Management. The Earthquake Engineering Management specialization combines structural, earthquake, and geotechnical earthquake engineering with social science approaches to address constructional problems. The program is structured over six semesters of estimated full-time study, hosted at the Main Campus in the Mohammad Natsir Building. It requires submission of a research proposal and includes admission tests such as Academic Potential Test, English Proficiency Test, and an interview. Graduates pursue roles in academia, research, construction industries, government agencies, and disaster management sectors.

• Domestic or international applicants with valid permission from the Directorate General of Higher Education
• Completed application form
• Latest colored passport photos sized 3×4 cm and 4×6 cm, two each
• Certified copies of diploma and academic transcripts brought on interview day (Bachelor's minimum GPA 2.75, Master's minimum GPA 3.25)
• TOEFL minimum score 500 or IELTS minimum score 5.5 with original certificate on interview day
• Valid TPA certificate with minimum score 500
• Written test
• Research proposal with title, abstract (max 350 words), background, problem, objectives, and methodology; two copies on interview day
• Applicants from Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or other relevant fields to Civil Engineering and Disaster Risk Reduction
• Participation in Academic Potential Test, TOEFL, and interview as scheduled
