About this program

The Doctor of Islamic Law program at Universitas Islam Indonesia offers two concentrations: Islamic Law and Sharia Economic Law. It produces doctoral graduates with knowledge of Islam, Indonesia, and the Indonesian legal system. The program aims to integrate science and Indonesian culture. The normal duration is 4 years, including 4 semesters of lectures and 4 semesters of dissertation writing. Classes operate Monday to Friday for the regular program and include classes, proposal seminars, research result seminars, and dissertation defenses.

  • English or Arabic proficiency certificate (TOEFL/CEPT/TOAFL) minimum score 525
