International Scholarships at Falmouth University in UK 2014
Falmouth is delighted to announce 27 scholarships available to international students beginning foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate study in autumn 2014. Worth a collective £80,000, the scholarships are designed to recognise exceptional talent and reflect the importance placed on international study at Falmouth. Stuart Westhead, Head of the International Office, explains: “Falmouth attracts substantial international talent. The 2014 scholarships serve to recognise this and the significant role that international students play in encouraging diversity and excellence at the University. The 27 scholarships will recognise outstanding international students that we believe will make a rich contribution to the academic and social community of the University.” With around 300 current overseas students, Falmouth has an increasingly diverse and mobile student population. Voted the number one institution in the world for international student experience across seven categories in a recent poll conducted by the International Student Barometer, it’s perhaps not surprising that Falmouth is such a popular study abroad destination.

- Falmouth Global, Vice-Chancellor’s scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the Falmouth University. India GREAT scholarships are awarded to study BA (Hons) Fashion Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Photography and BA (Hons) Interior Design. International scholarships will be awarded within the School of Art, Academy of Music and Theatre Arts, School of Communication Design, Fashion & Textiles Institute, School of Film & Television, Institute of Photography and School of Writing & Journalism.
- Scholarships are available for foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate study at Falmouth University.
Eligibility: To qualify for a Falmouth University International Scholarship, you must be liable to pay tuition fees at the international (non EU) rate. All our scholarships are open and available for all levels of study including undergraduate, postgraduate and foundation. Scholarships are for the fixed amount stated and will be paid in full upon enrolment on a Falmouth University course commencing academic year 2014-15. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must also have submitted a course application to Falmouth University for entry starting academic year 2014-15.
- International students (India GREAT Scholarships available only for Indian students) can apply for these scholarships.
- Falmouth is delighted to announce 27 scholarships available to international students beginning foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate study in autumn 2014.
- Worth a collective £80,000, the scholarships are designed to recognise exceptional talent and reflect the importance placed on international study at Falmouth. Available scholarships include three Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships worth £5,000 each and 21 departmental scholarships worth £2,500 each. In addition, three India GREAT Scholarships will be offered to undergraduate students in partnership with the British Council’s GREAT initiative, these will be to the value of £7,000 each and cover BA (Hons) Fashion Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Photography and BA (Hons) Interior Design.
- Falmouth University will advise you by no later than Friday 13 June 2014 if your application is successful and the award will be confirmed once the offer of a place at Falmouth University has been confirmed.
- The mode of applying is by post and electronically. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must also have submitted a course application to Falmouth University for entry starting academic year 2014-15.
- The application deadline is 30 May 2014.
