Join us in shaping the engineering future! Interns will participate in engineering projects spanning space systems, military systems, commercial aircraft, and technology evolution. Opportunities for internships encompass a diverse range, including but not limited to: Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Flight, Materials and Process Engineering, Mechanical / Structural Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Software, Systems, Test and Evaluation Engineering, Product Support, Flight Operations, Product Security, Safety and Airworthiness.

Note that these positions necessitate adherence to Export Control regulations, thereby mandating a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. This entails being a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Minimum Qualifications (Essential Skill/Experience):

  • Availability for full-time commitment spanning 10-12 weeks during the Summer of 2024.
  • Current pursuit of a major within the core engineering/applied sciences domains (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Civil – particularly with Structural emphasis or interest, Chemical, Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mathematics, Physics, Software, Structural, Quality, Industrial Engineering Technical, Industrial Management, Operations Research, Engineering Mechanics, and Systems).
  • Enrollment in a college or university with an anticipated graduation date in August 2024 or beyond.
  • Enrollment in a Historically Black College and University.

Preferred Qualifications (Desirable Skills/Experience):

  • Strong academic record (preferably GPA of 3.0 or higher).
  • Remarkable organizational and collaboration aptitude evidenced through leadership roles within teams or involvement in student/civic organizations.
  • Robust technical background illustrated by involvement in technical projects, research, or engineering internships.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with genuine enthusiasm for engineering, aerospace, and a career with Boeing.
  • Junior or Senior standing in academics.
