Qom University is a public university in Iran, and it suits students who want an institution centered on legal studies. It is also a fit for applicants who want a university with a clear official website and are prepared to confirm programme and admission details directly with the university.
Qom University is described as an academic center in the field of legal studies. No specific degree programmes, subject lists, or faculty areas are published in the information available, so the current programme catalogue should be checked on the university’s official website before applying.
International applicants should check the university’s official admissions page for entry requirements, document lists, deadlines, and whether any language or credential checks apply. The university was founded as a higher educational and legal school and later began admitting high-school graduates, but the exact current application route for foreign students needs to be confirmed with admissions.
The university does not publish a tuition fee range for international students; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. Living costs in Qom will depend on accommodation, food, transport, and personal spending, so plan for those separately.
The language of instruction is not stated. Before applying, confirm the language required for study, whether your previous qualifications are accepted, what documents must be legalized or translated, and how the university handles visas and arrival steps for students coming from abroad.
Among 193 universities in Iran, Qom University stands out more for its public status and legal-studies focus than for a broad published programme list. That makes it a better comparison point for applicants seeking a subject-specific institution than for those looking only at the widest possible range of fields.
Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
