The Diploma in Fashion Buying Merchandising at Griffith College develops skills for fashion buying, trend analysis, customer profiling, and merchandise planning. Students cover modules including Introduction to Fashion Buying, Fashion Trend Forecasting and Customer Profiling, and Principles of Buying, along with Garment Technology and Textile Materials. The programme also includes Principles of Buying – Live Project and Professional and Portfolio Development.
Delivery is part-time and available online and on-campus, over 26 weeks. Online classes are delivered live online using Zoom. The part-time evening schedule runs 2 evenings per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm). On-campus delivery runs one day per week (10.00 am to 5.00 pm). Learners complete live briefs and submit professional presentations.
