Diploma in Finance for Non Financial Managers

Griffith College’s Professional Diploma in Finance for Non Financial Managers is designed to equip non-financial managers with the essential financial tools and knowledge. Students study Financial Accounting, Accounting Records, Procedures and Systems, Financial Management, Sources of Finance, Cost and Management Accounting, and Budgeting and Budgetary Control, including interpreting financial statements and applying budgeting and control.

The programme runs for 12 weeks with one evening per week from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. It is offered as Part-Time / Online, with on-campus delivery classes and live online classes delivered using Zoom. Exams take place on campus for both on-campus and online delivery, and attending exams in person is mandatory.

• Applicants under 23 years of age: 5 O6/H7 grades in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award OR FETAC Level 5 Full Award
• Applicants over 23 years of age (Mature students): Direct Entry - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form.

It is recommended that applicants have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.
