Diploma in Food Manufacturing Management Students Visit Dairygold

University College Cork offers the Diploma in Food Manufacturing Management. A named part of the programme is “Diploma in Food Manufacturing Management Workshop 5”, where participants attended a study tour to Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited at Castlefarm in Mitchelstown.

During the study tour, participants engaged with Dairygold’s farming tradition alongside nutritional expertise and technology, including the extent of automation and the organisation’s commitment to sustainability. The visit was organised by a current student, Sebastian Dymarkowski, and hosted by Michael Sheehan (Site Manager), Liam Enright (Whey Products Lead/Process Optimisation Lead), Aoife Cronin (QA Officer), and Declan Geary (Production Plant Manager).
