MSC By Research Scholarship Management Marketing

University College Cork offers the MSc by Research Scholarship (Management & Marketing) through the Department of Management and Marketing. The department is research active across areas including Human Resource Management, Leadership and Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behaviour, Sustainable Consumption, and International Business. Applicants must meet the entry threshold and other requirements for MSc by Research.

The scholarship provides an EU fee waiver value of €5,770 and a one-year stipend, with a 12-month duration only. Applicants apply via an online application form with an attached research proposal, plus CV, samples of recent academic writing/work, evidence of English language requirements (if applicable), and a short personal statement.

The scholarship is open to Home/EU and international students. Shortlisted applicants are called for an interview, and the Head of Department and Department representative review applications.

Applicants must meet the entry threshold and other requirements for MSc by Research. Applicants must have obtained a standard of at least Second-Class Honours Grade I in a relevant Undergraduate business degree (e.g. Business, Marketing, Strategy, Innovation). Completion of a taught Master’s degree and previous experience of research methods (especially qualitative methods) is desirable.
