University College Dublin Ireland UCD Global Excellence Scholarships

University College Dublin (UCD) offers UCD Global Excellence Scholarships for international students (on non-EU fees) starting their courses in September. The funding provided is 100% and 50% tuition fee scholarships, for outstanding international students applying to undergraduate and graduate taught programmes only.

The scholarship is ONLY open to incoming students classed as non-EU for tuition fee purposes. Applicants must first have received an offer (or a conditional offer) to study on an eligible UCD course. Many undergraduate and graduate taught programmes are eligible, with some programme exclusions listed in the Eligible Programmes document.

Scholarship results are shared approximately seven weeks after each regional deadline via SISWeb. The terms and conditions state that continuing students are assessed for scholarship eligibility for the next academic year and that there is no need to contact the office before the scheduled review unless there is a special request.

Funding is not automatically renewed for continuing students. Continuing students are assessed for scholarship eligibility for the next academic year under the terms and conditions of the original award, and the review process takes place after the end of the academic year with notifications issued between late September and October. Results are shared approximately seven weeks after each regional deadline via SISWeb or no later than two weeks after the Committee confirms decisions.
