IsDB Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the IsDB Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

For Undergraduate Program:

• Complete senior secondary education with excellent grades in major subjects.
• Not currently receiving any other scholarship.
• Be in good medical condition and willing to undergo medical tests if selected.

For Master’s Program:

• Have a minimum academic standing of “Very Good.”
• Preferably possess work and/or research experience.
• Develop a research proposal relevant to the program’s field of study.
• Meet medical fitness requirements.

For PhD Study:

• Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Maintain a minimum academic standing of “Very Good.”
• Preferably have work and/or research experience.
• Create a research proposal aligned with the program’s scientific and development goals.
• Pass medical fitness assessments.

For Post-doctoral Research:

• Possess a PhD degree in an approved program field.
• Maintain a minimum academic standing of “Very Good.”
• Have at least two years of research experience.
• Demonstrate a track record of publications or research in the same field.
• Craft a research proposal that aligns with the program’s objectives.
• Pass medical fitness assessments.

For Vocational Education Training (VET):

• Be a citizen of one of the 21 IsDB Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs).
• Have completed high school with strong grades in major subjects.
• Not currently receiving any other scholarship.
• Be in good medical condition and willing to undergo medical tests if selected.
