Diploma in Donne E Chiesa Donne E Uomini in Una Comunita Sinodale

The Joint Diploma, titled “Women and Church: women and men in a synodal community,” studies the specific contribution of women to the life and mission of the Church. It focuses on reciprocal collaboration between women and men within Church settings, and it frames this reflection within the question of valuing lay people raised by the Second Vatican Council.

The program follows a synodal structure: listening, discerning, and acting. Listening includes analyzing challenges for women in the Church and collaboration between clergy and lay people in light of faith. Discerning covers the causes of challenges and theological foundations. Acting outlines paths and tools for renewal, with attention to perspectives opened by the Second Vatican Council.
