Award of Scholarships for High-Achieving international students

Ca’ Foscari provides targeted, merit-based financial aid for high-achieving international students who have obtained their education outside the Italian education system and want to enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Ca’ Foscari. The support is made available by Ca’ Foscari and by other Italian governmental organizations. Ca’ Foscari offers scholarships for degree programmes taught in Italian or English.

For high-achieving students enrolling in a degree programme in the/ academic year, Ca’ Foscari offers renewable yearly scholarships designed to support students over the entire duration of the degree: new bachelor’s students receive 8 Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships of €10,000 per year for three years, and new master’s students receive 20 Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships of €10,000 per year for two years.

Selection is based on points from evaluation elements including CGPA (equivalent to or higher than 85% at the time of application submission), a motivational video prepared according to the call’s indications, reference letter(s prepared by teachers or professors, with one letter for bachelor’s applicants and at least one up to two for master’s applicants), and language certification demonstrating knowledge of the language of instruction of the chosen programme.

• Applicant must be a high-achieving international student.
• Applicant must have obtained their education outside the Italian education system.
• Applicant must enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Ca’ Foscari.
• Applicant must enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s degree taught in Italian or English.
• CGPA must be equivalent to or higher than 85% at the time the scholarship application is submitted.

• €10,000 per year for new bachelor’s students (for three years) under the Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships.
• €10,000 per year for new master’s students (for two years) under the Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships.
• Renewable yearly scholarships designed to support the student over the entire duration of the degree.

1. Use the complete call for applications published here in late fall and submit the scholarship application following the specific instructions and deadlines in that call.
2. Prepare the motivational video according to the indications provided in the call for applications.
3. Arrange for the required reference letter(s) to be prepared by teachers or professors familiar with the applicant and their work, according to the call’s requirements.

• Language certification demonstrating the applicant’s knowledge of the language of instruction of the chosen programme of study (one of the language certifications accepted by the university).
