Hokkaido University Japan EXEX and Next Gen AI Fellowships Scholarship

Hokkaido University runs two doctoral fellowships under the Hokkaido University Doctoral Fellowship: the Hokkaido University EXEX Doctoral Fellowship and the Hokkaido University Next Generation AI Doctoral Fellowship. The application procedure for these fellowships is posted on dedicated portal sites for each fellowship.

The notice is for students including those who entered the doctoral course in April, students who will be enrolled in October/April, all current doctoral students, master’s course students, professional degree course students, and 5th and 6th year undergraduate students.

An application period is provided: June 17, to June 28, by 17:00. An online information and talk session is also scheduled, including an overview of the program and support and a question-and-answer session; live questions can be posted via YouTube chat, and the session is conducted in Japanese with English questions also answered.

1. Use the EXEX Doctoral Fellowship portal site to access the application procedure.
2. Use the Next Generation AI Doctoral Fellowship portal site to access the application procedure.
3. Submit the application during the application period (June 17, 2024 to June 28, 2024 by 17:00).
4. Use the inquiry form on the portal site to ask questions.
5. Optionally attend the online information and talk session.
