POSITION: Delivery Coordinator
AbenGlobal, Ghana’s premier courier company, is looking for a creative and committed Field Staff member to join our team. During the second shift (12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays), the Field Staff will be critical to our operations.
The ideal individual will help resolve call center issues, sort packages, dispatch riders effectively, and conduct data entry activities.
- Second Shift activities: Oversee and manage activities during the second shift to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Call Center Assistance: Assist the call center personnel in successfully resolving customer and rider concerns and difficulties.
- Package Handling: Receive, sort, and organize inbound packages for dispatch, assuring delivery accuracy and punctuality.
- Rider Dispatch: Coordinate and dispatch riders with packages while ensuring correct documentation and delivery schedule adherence.
- Data Entry: Enter and manage data related to package handling and delivery into the company’s databases accurately.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Prior experience in a similar role in the logistics, eCom, consultancy, IT industry, banking, and accounting industries is preferable.
- Excellent organizational abilities, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize activities.
- Excellent communication skills are required to communicate with internal teams, riders, and consumers.
- Knowledge of fundamental computer applications and data entry.
- The ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace
Working Times: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
