Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences offers training in theoretical and technical skills to perform diagnostics and provide scientific results. The program emphasizes Christian principles and aims to prepare students for service to humanity. It requires knowledge in biology, chemistry, mathematics or physics, and focuses on innovation in medical laboratory sciences. The course covers 144 credits and prepares students for diverse roles in medical and research laboratories, hospitals, and public health sectors, with options to advance to specialized master's degrees or medicine.

1. A minimum grade of C+ or better in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), including C+ in Biology, Chemistry, English or Kiswahili, and Mathematics or Physics.

2. Candidates with baccalaureate science degrees must show relevant transferable credits or completion of all pre-clinical courses within the past eight years or updated as required.

3. Applicants must have auditory and visual abilities to hear alarms and discriminate colors.
