Bachelor of Science General

The Bachelor of Science General program at the National University of Lesotho is a four-year degree designed for students entering directly. The course involves studying various science subjects as determined by the department. Admission and placement within the program for candidates with certificate or diploma qualifications are decided by the respective department. The program prepares students for further study or work in science-related fields.

Sat for a minimum of six (6) subjects in LGCSE examinations or its equivalent. Obtained a B grade or better in Mathematics. Obtained a C grade or better in Biology or Physical Science or other recognised basic sciences subjects. Obtained a D grade or better in English Language. Obtained a C grade or better in the other two subjects. Obtained a D grade or better in the remaining subjects. Ranking is based on total point score from Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology or Physical Science or Other science subjects), and a second Science subject or English Language (whichever is better). Admission is on merit and ties are resolved by APS and/or other criteria set by the Admission’s Committee.
