The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems covers the study of information systems with a view to understanding and managing business and organisational systems. The program prepares students for roles involving business applications, system analysis, database management, and IT governance. The course duration for direct entry is four years, structured to develop skills in various aspects of information systems and technology as related to organisations.
Students must have taken a minimum of six subjects in LGCSE examinations or equivalent, with at least a B grade in Mathematics, C grade in Biology or Physical Science or other recognised basic science subjects, C grade in English Language, a C grade in one additional subject, and a D grade or better in the remaining two subjects. Admissions are ranked based on points from Mathematics, one Science subject, and a second Science or English Language subject, with ties resolved by additional criteria determined by the admissions committee.
