Bachelor of Special Education

The Bachelor of Special Education is a four-year degree program. It prepares students to teach two non-science subjects at secondary and high school levels. The course includes specializations such as Business Education and English Language Education. It targets students intending to work in educational roles including teaching, specialist positions, and school management.

Applicants must have sat for at least six (6) subjects in LGCSE examinations with four (4) subjects passed at C grade or better including English Language and the other two (2) subjects at least at D grade. For Business Education specialization, a C grade or better in Mathematics is required. For English Language Education specialization, a B grade or better in English Language is required.

• Special needs educator
• Psycho-social carer
• Educational psychologist
• Educational counsellor
• Run a full-time school
• Run support afternoon/weekend lessons for pupils who attend various schools
• Run supplement support lessons/classes for supplementary or part-time JC and LGCSE
