DAAD - MUBAS Scholarship

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) School of Science and Technology invites applications for the Master of Science in Environmental Health programme. DAAD offers limited scholarships for Master’s studies under the In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme. The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and aims at university staff in the first line, while also addressing public sector demand for academically trained personnel.

Applications are open to national and international applicants for the Master of Science in Environmental Health programme. Female and underprivileged applicants are particularly encouraged to apply. The scholarship is for the MSc programme delivered in two parts: coursework and a dissertation, with the coursework made up of ten core modules.

Selection is based on the admission requirements and the scholarship application submitted through the DAAD portal, plus the requirement to apply for admission at MUBAS at the same time. Applicants must meet the academic entry requirement of a bachelor’s degree with above-average results, such as a Credit, Distinction, or a GPA of 2.5 and above (or an equivalent), in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field, earned no more than six years before application.
