Bachelor in Accounting Honours

The Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) at Perdana University equips students with practical knowledge in accounting, finance, auditing, taxation, and business law, with an emphasis on ethics and critical thinking. The curriculum includes areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, auditing, corporate finance, and taxation, supported by business and research modules.

Students study full-time for 3 years or part-time for 5 years. The programme runs with intakes in January, June, and September and is delivered in full-time and part-time modes. It includes a Final Year Project and an Industrial Training component, alongside skills and co-curriculum elements.

STPM
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.33) in any two (2) subjects

STAM
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid (Good)

Matriculation / Foundation
A pass in Matriculation, Foundation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50

Diploma
A Diploma in Accounting (Level 4, MQF) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough and rigorous assessment.

OR
A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) or Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the Perdana University Senate/Academic Board.
OR
A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the Perdana University Senate/Academic Board.
OR
An Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in Accounting or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
OR
Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Additional Requirement
Credit: A credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
Pass: Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level must take and pass a reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to SPM level. This subject must be offered during the first semester or before enrolment with an unconditional offer.

• Students are required to pass the reinforcement Mathematics and English before being allowed to take related core courses. The candidate can sit for any subject that does not indicate Mathematics and English as a prerequisite.
• Reinforcement Mathematics and English can contribute to the overall graduating credit.
• Students from Matriculation / Foundation or its equivalent can be exempted from taking reinforcement Mathematics and English, provided that the Mathematics and English offered at that programme level is equivalent / more than the Mathematics and English offered at SPM level.

International Students are required to achieve a minimum of Band 3.5 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (High B1).
