Bachelor in Arabic Language with Honours

The Bachelor in Arabic Language with Honours is an academic program that focuses on the mastery of Arabic linguistics, including morphology, syntax, rhetoric, discourse, and communication. It also covers the application of Arabic within Islamic studies and contemporary contexts, including academic and critical understanding of the Quran, Hadith, and classical texts, with a total of 121 credit hours.

The program combines theoretical and practical learning. It develops cognitive skills, interpersonal communication, and the use of digital technology, alongside leadership, ethical values, and professionalism. Students also build analytical and problem-solving skills, research skills, and entrepreneurship skills, while strengthening the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic in academic and professional situations.

• Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and at least TWO (2) full passes, and ONE (1) of them in a subject related to Islamic Studies; OR
• Pass a qualification equivalent to STPM such as A-level, provided the applicant passes at least ONE (1) Islamic Studies subject in that qualification; OR
• Pass a Foundation / Matriculation program or recognized equivalent as Islamic Studies Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
• Pass STAM with an overall Maqbul grade; OR
• Recognized Diploma in Islamic Studies or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
