Bachelor in Law Enforcement Honours

The Bachelor in Law Enforcement (Honours) is a cross-disciplinary degree that integrates law enforcement, administration, security, and public safety. It builds knowledge and practical skills through modules such as Introduction to Civil Law, Forensic Science and Investigation, Crime Prevention and Community Policing, and Cyber Crime.

The programme includes a research-focused capstone structure with a Project Paper and an Internship (Industrial Training). It also includes a minimum course duration of 20 months, with 30% of face-to-face learning delivered through six sessions at the MUST campus in Kota Damansara, each lasting four days, and online classes delivered through various platforms. Study options include full time or part time, with intakes in April / May.

Academic requirements options:

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
• A Pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by MQA; OR
• Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C in TWO subjects (GPA 2.00); OR
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR
• Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
• A Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
• Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval; OR
• Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval; OR
• Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

ENGLISH COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT (INTERNATIONAL STUDENT): Achieve a grade in the MUET or any English competency test equivalent to a High B1 in the CEFR.
