Bachelor of Accountancy Hons

The Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) at Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL) prepares students for careers in accounting, auditing, financial management, and related fields. The programme focuses on core accounting skills such as financial and management accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate governance, plus financial management and analysis, ethics and professional standards, and technology in accounting through accounting information systems and digital tools.

Students develop skills through practical industry engagement, including internships, industry projects, and simulations. The programme also includes a focus on real-world application, problem-solving and decision-making for business challenges, and professional networking with industry experts and organisations.

The programme offers multiple pathways for admission:

• Foundation/Matriculation: Passed Matriculation/Foundation programme with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English language at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level. OR
• Diploma: Passed a Diploma in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum GPA of 2.50. OR
• Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or Equivalent: Passed STPM or an equivalent qualification with at least a C+ grade (NGMP 2.33) in any two (2) subjects, along with a credit in Mathematics at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level. OR
• Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM): Passed STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, a credit in Mathematics, and a pass in English Language at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level. OR
• Diploma (Level 4 KKM): Passed a Diploma in Accounting or a related field at Level 4 KKM, with a minimum GPA of 2.50. OR
• UEC (Unified Examination Certificate): Passed UEC with Grade B in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics, and passed Bahasa Inggeris. OR
• Technical and Vocational Diplomas: Passed Malaysian Diploma Skills (Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia - DKM), Malaysian Advanced Diploma Skills (Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia - DLKM), or Malaysian Vocational Diploma (Diploma Vokasional Malaysia - DVM) in a related field, with a minimum GPA of 2.50 and full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
