Bachelor of Human Resources Management Hons

The Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Hons) at Universiti Industri Selangor focuses on human resource management disciplines with emphasis on professions with high moral and ethical values. The programme covers key HRM areas including recruitment, selection, training, compensation, employee relations, and labour law and employment regulations. It also supports students to manage human capital development in organisations.

Teaching includes quantitative skills and a global outlook in HRM, with a syllabus designed to meet industry needs. Some courses provide hands-on training using the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), aligned with Malaysian statutory requirements. Learning is supported through HR simulations and case studies, plus practical industry experience through internships, industry collaborations, and project-based learning.

• Passed Malaysian Higher School Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Persekutuan) (STPM) or equivalent by obtaining at least C grade (NGMP: 2.00) in two (2) subjects and passed Mathematics and English at Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level or equivalent qualifications; OR
• Passed the Malaysian Higher Certificate of Religion (STAM) with at least the rank of Jayyid (Good) and passed Mathematics and English at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level/ equivalent; OR
• Pass the United Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B grade in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics and pass English; OR
• Pass Matriculation/Foundation/AsSI with at least CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
• Pass the UNISEL Foundation Year Study Programme with a minimum GPA of 2.00; OR
• Other qualifications recognised as equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, KKM) with at least a CGPA of 2.00
• Pass the Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM)/ Malaysian Advanced Skills Diploma (DLKM)/ Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) in a related field with at least a GPA of 2.50 and have obtained a Full Accreditation Certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
• Passing the Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) is equivalent to three (3) credits of the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) for candidates who obtain: Competent in all vocational modules; Note: The eligibility requirements for SVM entry into the DVM programme for the 2012-2016 cohort are as above. For SVM graduates, cohort 2013-2016, SVM equivalence with 3 SPM credits also needs to take into account passing the Malaysian Ceritificate of Education (SPM) History subject; OR
• Other qualifications are recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.
