Bachelor of Information Technology Honours

The Bachelor of Information Technology Honours at Universiti Industri Selangor is a career-focused programme that emphasizes solving technological challenges and improving the management and analysis of information across industries. It provides essential knowledge and skills in key IT areas and supports professional qualities such as problem-solving, communication, ethics, and teamwork.

Learning is built around practical, skill-building activities, including peer group critiques, portfolio reviews, and work-in-progress exhibitions. Students also engage in project-based learning through internships, case studies, and industry collaborations, with emphasis on programming, networking, data management, and system architecture, plus software development, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity and digital ethics.

A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade of C (CGPA 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects or any equivalent qualification; OR

A pass in STAM with a minimum Grade of Jayyid in any TWO (2) subjects; OR

A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent. AND a credit in: Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level need to take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject that is equivalent to the SPM level at the beginning of the study; OR Diploma in Computing (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR Any Diploma in Science and Technology (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA of 50 subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval; OR Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval;

Notes: Candidates for categories (iv) until (v) with CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough internal evaluation process.

Achieve a minimum score of 5.0 in the IELTS or equivalent.
