The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Occupational Therapy at Perdana University is a 4-year programme that trains students for occupational therapy. The curriculum covers Basic Anatomy, Human Physiology, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Occupational Therapy, Basic Pathology, General Medicine, Orthopaedic and Surgical Conditions, and Occupational Therapy Process and Practice, alongside later modules such as Evidence-Based Practice and Research Methodology.
Teaching is organised by semesters and includes clinical visits and clinical placements. Students take Introduction to OT Clinical Practice (Clinical Visit), then multiple Clinical Placement modules across Musculoskeletal, Paediatric, Mental Health, and a Clinical Placement Final Year. The programme also includes a Research Project. Entry depends on prior qualifications and an English language requirement.
