Diploma in Business Management

The Diploma in Business Management at Universiti Industri Selangor focuses on broad-based knowledge in management, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and legal matters relating to commercial transactions. The programme aims to support industry contribution and lifelong learning, and it prepares graduates with basic skills to operate small businesses and work on a projected business plan.

The programme includes theory and working experience. Final-year students experience industrial training with a local company to gain exposure to how a company operates. It also includes internships, industry projects, and simulation. The curriculum covers core knowledge in general management, event management, economics (including Islamic economics), legal and ethical aspects, and skills development in entrepreneurship, communication, and human resource management.

• Pass Malaysian Certificate of Education (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia – SPM) with at least credit in THREE subjects; OR
• Possess SKM Level 3 in the related field; OR
• A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
• A pass in Malaysian Higher School Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia- STPM) with at least grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject; OR
• A pass in Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia - STAM) with at least a Maqbul Grade; OR
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
