Diploma in Graphic Design

The Diploma in Graphic Design develops visual communication skills, creative thinking, and the use of digital design technology. Students study the fundamentals of art and design, typography, visual communication design, branding, digital illustration, photography, packaging design, digital media, advertising, and corporate identity development.

Learning combines artistic theory with practical applications through studio-oriented, hands-on design projects and real creative briefs. Students also build a creative portfolio from the initial research phase through production of the final product, using professional design software. The program is full-time and lasts 3 years.

Possess the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with at least Maqbul Grade; OR

Possess a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 / Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM). *Note: The University is responsible for conducting screening and providing necessary guidance specific to the program discipline; OR

Recognized certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects; OR

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia; AND

Pass an interview (online/virtual/conventional) OR submission of a portfolio as determined by the University according to requirements.
