Diploma in Law Enforcement Administration

The Diploma in Law Enforcement Administration at Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) is a multi-disciplinary programme designed to prepare students for careers in policing, customs, security, courts, and other enforcement agencies. It covers topics including criminal law, investigation techniques, social psychology, and public safety, with learning outcomes focused on ethics, communication, digital and technological skills, and law enforcement decision-making.

Learning is delivered through full-time or part-time study. The course duration is a minimum of 20 months, with 30% of face-to-face learning including six sessions at the MUST campus in Kota Damansara, each lasting four days. Online classes are conducted through various platforms by KEDGE faculty members. Students complete case studies, simulations, and internships.

Academic requirements (choose one):

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
• A Pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by MQA; OR
• Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

OR (alternative entry):

• Possess SPM or equivalent with at least THREE credits in any subjects; OR
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum grade of C in ONE subject [Grade Point (GP) 2.00]; OR
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass); OR
• A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field; OR
• A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
• Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

ENGLISH COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT (INTERNATIONAL STUDENT): Achieve a grade in the MUET or any English competency test equivalent to a Mid B1 in the CEFR. Achieve a minimum Band 3 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (High B1)**.
