Diploma in Logistics and Freight Forwarding Management

The Diploma in Logistics and Freight Forwarding Management prepares students for roles in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. It focuses on business fundamentals and the practical functions of logistics and freight forwarding management. It also supports further academic study through advanced standing for qualifying candidates.

Learning includes face-to-face sessions and online classes. At least 30% of learning is face-to-face, with six sessions at the MUST campus in Kota Damansara, each lasting four days. Students complete a program at MQF level 4 with a credit value of 90 credit hours, offered as a single major.

There is a capstone stage with a proposed capstone final project, plus an internship during the program. The qualification is positioned for work roles such as forwarding, logistics coordination, planning, documentation, and shipping.

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
• A Pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by MQA; OR
• Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Possesses SPM with at least credit in THREE subjects; OR

Possesses SKM Level 3 in the related field; OR

A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the related field with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject; OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Grade Maqbul; OR

Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
