The Diploma in Robotics and Automation Engineering at Brickfields Asia College prepares students to build, program, and control physical machines. The curriculum includes computing and electronics modules such as Introduction to Computing, C++ Programming, Analog Electronic Devices, Principle of Electrical Circuit, and Digital Electronics. It also covers robotics and automation topics including Robotics Technology, Smart Automation Technology, Automatic Control, Sensors & Actuators, Robotics System & Peripheral, Micro Controller Programming – Embedded, and a Final Year Project.
Study is delivered through Blended Learning. Students complete Assessments that include Coursework & Exams. The assessment structure also includes an Internship, along with practical coursework such as practical assessments, assignments, presentations, and case studies. Learning uses in-person lab sessions, theory-based lectures, and online modules, with training in robotics labs equipped with industrial arms, microcontrollers, and PLC systems.
Graduates can pursue roles such as IoT Systems Engineer, AI Hardware Engineer, Cybersecurity Hardware Engineer, Robotics and Automation Engineer, Embedded Systems Specialist, and others listed for the diploma. Students with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 may be eligible for direct entry into Year 2 of several bachelor’s programs.
