The Diploma in Software Engineering at Brickfields Asia College is a practical programme that prepares students to design, develop, and deliver software solutions. Modules cover fundamentals such as Problem Solving and Programming, Object-Oriented Programming Fundamentals, and Data Structures & Algorithms, plus core software engineering topics like Systems Analysis & Design, Software Project Management Fundamentals, Software Design, Software Testing & Quality Assurance, and Secure Software.
Teaching is delivered full-time and assessed through coursework & exams. Assessment uses a mix of coursework (40%), final examinations (30%), and practical assessments & projects (30%). Students also complete a compulsory Industrial Training placement, and they produce a Final Year Project.
