Master in Education Research

The Master in Education Research at Perdana University is a full master’s programme designed to equip educationists with fundamental knowledge and skills for effective roles as educators and leaders in educational organisations through research. It focuses on enhancement of knowledge, critical thinking, and organisational capabilities and skills to meet societal demands for substantive content and quality.

The curriculum is built around a thesis and a viva-voce. The programme is available full-time for 1 year or part-time for 2 years. Intake is in Jan, June, and Sept.

Modules

• Thesis and Viva-voce

i. A Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent as accepted by the Perdana University Senate
ii. A Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment
iii. A Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted, subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment
iv. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the Perdana University Senate and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii)

IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
