The Master of Corporate Law and Governance covers the Malaysian Legal System, research skills, and research methods. You study Research Methodology with a focus on scientific knowledge, and you complete a Master Project that involves selecting a research subject, collecting and analysing relevant literature, and formulating a research question using interdisciplinary theoretical approaches.
Learning is organised through core modules and elective modules. Electives include Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Commercial Contracts Practice, Mergers and Acquisition Practice, and Corporate Secretarial Practice. You also choose from Lawyer’s Skills, Strategic Management, Interpreting Financial and Accounting Information, and other electives focused on boardroom work, employment law, banking and finance, Islamic banking and finance, and intellectual property practice.
