The Master of Education (Coursework) at Perdana University prepares future educators and education professionals from various backgrounds to become managers and leaders in educational establishments. Students study education-focused areas including Philosophy of Education, Psychosociology of Education, Curriculum Management, Andragogy and Instructional Strategies, Assessment in Education, Strategic Leadership, Studies of the Future, and Research Methods in Education, plus a Master Project.
The programme is delivered through a blended learning mode. It is offered full-time for 1 to 2 years and part-time for 2 to 3 years. Applicants can also apply via APEL.A (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning), which uses professional experience to support admission, subject to the programme’s admission requirements.
Standard Entry: A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in education or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as accepted by the Perdana University Senate.
Alternative Entry: A Bachelor’s degree in education or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal interview assessment.
Non-Related Fields: A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields is accepted, provided the candidate undergoes an appropriate prerequisite assessment as determined by the Senate and meets the minimum CGPA requirements above.
This programme is open to applicants via APEL.A (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning), allowing professional experience to support admission.
International Students must possess one of the following: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of at least 550; OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of at least 6.0; OR Any equivalent qualification recognized by the University.
