Master of Education Digital Learning in English Language Teaching

The Master of Education (Digital Learning in English Language Teaching) at Perdana University prepares educators to use digital technologies and AI in English language instruction. Students study digital pedagogy, online learning environments, learning analytics, virtual classrooms, and AI-powered language applications, along with instructional design, digital assessment, and content creation.

The curriculum runs over three semesters and includes a Masters Project. Module topics cover digital education history and philosophy, psychology and sociology of digital education, global perspectives on digital language learning, and technology-driven language testing and evaluation. It also includes research methodology, digital technology for teaching speaking and listening, reading and writing, and digital educational application development.

It is designed for teachers and curriculum designers and supports careers as English language teachers, digital curriculum developers, instructional designers, and education counsellors.

i. A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Perdana University (PU) Senate

ii. A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting 2.50 or equivalent, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment

iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must:

a) Meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii)
b) Achieve at least level B2 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (or its equivalent) in the language of instruction
c) Undergo prerequisite courses (Introduction to Linguistics, Phonetics, Syntax, Semantics, or the equivalent of these courses)

International Students: Any English competency test aligned with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (Mid B2)
