Master of Science in Engineering

The Master of Science in Engineering at Management and Science University is designed for highly qualified engineering students who want greater expertise to advance their careers. The curriculum is grounded in up-to-date research findings and industrial priorities, with a focus on practical knowledge. Students may expand their undergraduate training for professional engineering practice, prepare for doctoral studies, or pursue an entirely new field of interest.

Students study through courses including Quantitative Methods for Engineering, Advanced Research Method, and Career Prospects. The programme can be taken full-time or part-time, with a full-time duration of 2–3 and a part-time duration of 3–4. Fees are estimated for overall completion, with possible reductions if there are credit exemptions, rebates, or approved scholarship applications.

Entrance qualification based on programme standard (Engineering and Engineering Technology):

• Master’s Degree by Research
• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Engineering Technology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 AND
• For international students, TOEFL score of 500 OR IELTS score of 5.0 OR its equivalent.
• If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme, normally conducted through an assessment process.
• Degree holders of Bachelor’s of Science or Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with CGPA above 2.0 but less than 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.
